PhD in Biomedical Engineering, working as Fixed-term Junior Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering – Guglielmo Marconi (DEI), University of Bologna. His main research activity is in the area of human movement analysis, signal processing, wearable sensors, ICT in clinical practice, personal health systems design and validation, and mobile health. He is author or co-author of more than 60 papers on scientific journals. He has more than 10 years of experience in industrial research and technology transfer.
